Banana Oatmeal

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 7 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 large banana, ripe
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter

Recipe

  • 1 break banana into chunks and put into a small blender jar.
  • 2 add the skim milk.
  • 3 liquify in blender.
  • 4 put the dry oatmeal in a microwave safe bowl. (if you want to mix it ahead of time, use a small microwave safe dish which has a lid).
  • 5 pour the banana mixture on top of the oatmeal.
  • 6 stir well, to incorporate all the oatmeal.
  • 7 microwave (uncovered) on high setting for 90 seconds.
  • 8 stir.
  • 9 microwave again for about 90 seconds.
  • 10 if it starts to rise over the top of the bowl, stop the cooking, because it is most likely already done!
  • 11 stir in peanut butter.
