All Season Peanut & Corn Suet Bird Treats

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup hulled sunflower seeds

Recipe

  • 1 combine peanut butter and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • 2 cook until peanut butter completely melts.
  • 3 add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • 4 bring to a boil again and boil for 1 minute.
  • 5 pour into suet molds or a bread pan and allow to cool completely.
  • 6 if using bread pan, slice into a thickness that will fit into your suet feeders.
  • 7 store unused portions in your freezer until needed.
