Banana Bread

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons water
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 bananas
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts or 1/2 cup chopped cashews
Recipe
- 1 place all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well. initially it may seem a little dry but just keep on mixing until it is a pasty liquid.
- 2 transfer mixture into a lightly greased loaf tin.
- 3 bake in oven for about 45 to 50 minutes at 175oc.
- 4 stick a toothpick in the middle of the loaf - if it comes out clean it is cooked.
- 5 to make it tastier it is better to use fairly ripe bananas.
