Butterscotch-peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup chunky peanut butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 (11 ounce) package butterscotch chips
- 1 cup salted peanuts
Recipe
- 1 mix together shortening, butter and peanut butter until well blended.
- 2 add sugars, eggs and mix well.
- 3 blend the flour and soda then add to creamy mixture and mix well.
- 4 add butterscotch morsels, nuts and mix well.
- 5 drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet and flatten"a little" with fingers.
- 6 bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
- 7 let cookies set on cookie sheet a few minutes before removing.
