Butterscotch-peanut Butter Cookies

Total Time: 31 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 11 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 (11 ounce) package butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup salted peanuts

Recipe

  • 1 mix together shortening, butter and peanut butter until well blended.
  • 2 add sugars, eggs and mix well.
  • 3 blend the flour and soda then add to creamy mixture and mix well.
  • 4 add butterscotch morsels, nuts and mix well.
  • 5 drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet and flatten"a little" with fingers.
  • 6 bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • 7 let cookies set on cookie sheet a few minutes before removing.
