Cream Of Peanut Soup

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon milk, for dissolving the flour.

Recipe

  • 1 cook onions in butter and peanut butter for 5 minutes.
  • 2 dissolve flour in 1 t milk.
  • 3 add to pan and stir until smooth.
  • 4 add scalded milk and chicken stock.
  • 5 season to taste.
  • 6 cook in double-boiler for 20 minutes.
  • 7 optional: top with chopped peanuts.
