Chicken Chow Mein

Ingredients

- 1 lb boneless chicken
- 1/2 cup unsalted peanuts
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 celery ribs, thickly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups bean sprouts
- 4 green onions, coarsely chopped
- 1 (455 ml) jar sweet and sour sauce
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- cooked rice
Recipe
- 1 cut chicken in 1-inch cubes.
- 2 in wok or skillet, toast peanuts over high heat, remove.
- 3 add oil. stir fry chicken until no longer pink, 2-3 minutes.
- 4 add celery, sprouts, and onions nad fry for 3 minutes.
- 5 add sweet and sour sauce and soy sauce. heat through for 1 minute.
- 6 serve on rice sprinkled with peanuts.
