'chinese Buffet' Green Beans

Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon peanut oil or 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
Recipe
- 1 heat peanut oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2 stir in the garlic, and cook until the edges begin to brown, about 20 seconds.
- 3 add the green beans; cook and stir until the green beans begin to soften, about 5 minutes.
- 4 stir in the sugar, oyster sauce, and soy sauce.
- 5 continue cooking and stirring for several minutes until the beans have attained the desired degree of tenderness.
