Burmese Fried Shrimp

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 16 large shrimp, peeled (prawns)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • thin bamboo skewer

Recipe

  • 1 dust the shrimps with mixed salt, turmeric and chili powder.
  • 2 bend shrimps into a half circle and thread on skewer through top and tail to keep this shape.
  • 3 put four shrimps on each skewer.
  • 4 shallow fry skewered shrimps until golden.
  • 5 serve immediately.
