Chewy Peanut Brownie Bars

Ingredients

• 1 (19 1/2 ounce) package fudge brownie mix
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 egg
• 1 cup light corn syrup
• 3/4 cup peanut butter
• 1 cup unsalted peanuts
• 1 tablespoon butter, melted
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
• 7 1/2 teaspoons water
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

• 1 heat oven to 350. in large bowl, combine all crust ingredients; mix well. press evenly in bottom of ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan.
• 2 in small bowl, beat corn syrup and peanut butter at low speed until well blended. stir in remaining filling ingredients. spread filling evenly over crust to within 1/2 inch of edges.
• 3 bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes or until edges are firm and center is just firm to the touch. cool completely.
• 4 in small saucepan over low heat, heat 1 t. butter, chocolate and water until mixture is smooth. remove from heat. stir in powdered sugar and 1/2 t. vanilla; blend until smooth. drizzle glaze over cooled brownies. let stand until set. cut into bars.
