Apple Butter-peanut Butter Cookies

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple butter, preferably without sugar
  • 1/2 cup natural-style chunky peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup non-fat powdered milk
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (if peanut butter has no salt)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Recipe

  • 1 prepare cookie sheet with oil.
  • 2 preheat oven to 350.
  • 3 in a large bowl, beat apple butter, peanut butter, and vanilla.
  • 4 set aside.
  • 5 stir together in a medium bowl powdered milk, flour, salt, cinnamon and raisins.
  • 6 add dry ingredients to apple butter mixture and mix well.
  • 7 drop by teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheet.
  • 8 flatten with fork dipped in ice water, making a criss-cross pattern on top.
  • 9 bake at 350 for 10 minutes cool.
  • 10 refrigerate until well chilled.
  • 11 serve cold.
  • 12 these freeze well.
