Chocolate Spanish Peanut Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup softened unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup spanish peanut

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350°f.
  • 2 in a bowl, combine the butter and sugar, and, using an electric mixer, beat until light and creamy.
  • 3 beat in the eggs and vanilla and continue to mix for 2 minutes.
  • 4 in another bowl, stir together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  • 5 gradually stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture.
  • 6 stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
  • 7 drop by tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between each mound of dough.
  • 8 bake until set, 10-12 minutes.
  • 9 let cool for several minutes on the baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack.
