Bark

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 cup butter - 2 stick (cannot be margarine)
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • saltine crackers

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 line a cookie sheet with foil.
  • 3 place saltine crackers closely together on cookie sheet.
  • 4 melt brown sugar and butter together in a sauce pan or in the microwave.
  • 5 pour sugar mixture over crackers and spread to coat.
  • 6 bake for 10 minutes in preheated oven.
  • 7 remove from oven.
  • 8 sprinkle chocolate chips over crackers immediately.
  • 9 let soften and melt, then spread.
  • 10 let cool. refrigerate until hardened.
  • 11 break into bite-sized pieces like peanut brittle.
