Ingredients

- 1 cup butter - 2 stick (cannot be margarine)
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- saltine crackers
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
- 2 line a cookie sheet with foil.
- 3 place saltine crackers closely together on cookie sheet.
- 4 melt brown sugar and butter together in a sauce pan or in the microwave.
- 5 pour sugar mixture over crackers and spread to coat.
- 6 bake for 10 minutes in preheated oven.
- 7 remove from oven.
- 8 sprinkle chocolate chips over crackers immediately.
- 9 let soften and melt, then spread.
- 10 let cool. refrigerate until hardened.
- 11 break into bite-sized pieces like peanut brittle.
