Asian Beef

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb sliced sirloin
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup julienne carrot
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons dark sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion

Recipe

  • 1 heat sesame oil in a wok or skillet.
  • 2 add carrots and garlic until steak is cooked well.
  • 3 add the rest of the ingredients except the green onions.
  • 4 stir well and heat until sauce is reduced by 50%--about 5 minutes.
  • 5 add the sirloin and cook just until cooked, not too long or the meat with get tough.
  • 6 serve with rice and the green onions.
