Beef And Onion Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1/2 lb round steak, sliced very thin across grain
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1 cup onion, sliced into rings and separated
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 3 sliced green onions
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

Recipe

  • 1 mix cornstarch, 2 t soy sauce, and 2 t sherry in a bowl.
  • 2 add meat and stir to coat.
  • 3 set aside to marinate for 1 hour turn meat every 15 minutes.
  • 4 in small bowl mix 1 t soy sauce, 2 t sherry, sugar and salt. set aside.
  • 5 heat oil in uncovered wok to 375 or nonstick skillet on medium high heat.
  • 6 add onions, lemon juice, green onion, garlic and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  • 7 add beef and soy sauce mixture and stir fry 2-4 minutes until beef is done and onions are still crispy.
  • 8 serve over rice.
