Beef And Onion Stir Fry

Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1/2 lb round steak, sliced very thin across grain
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 1 cup onion, sliced into rings and separated
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 3 sliced green onions
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
Recipe
- 1 mix cornstarch, 2 t soy sauce, and 2 t sherry in a bowl.
- 2 add meat and stir to coat.
- 3 set aside to marinate for 1 hour turn meat every 15 minutes.
- 4 in small bowl mix 1 t soy sauce, 2 t sherry, sugar and salt. set aside.
- 5 heat oil in uncovered wok to 375 or nonstick skillet on medium high heat.
- 6 add onions, lemon juice, green onion, garlic and stir fry for 2 minutes.
- 7 add beef and soy sauce mixture and stir fry 2-4 minutes until beef is done and onions are still crispy.
- 8 serve over rice.
