Ingredients

- 6 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 -1 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups whole wheat cereal
- 1 cup cheerios toasted oat cereal
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1/2 cup peanuts or 1/2 cup cashews
- 1/2 cup raw pecans
Recipe
- 1 pre-heat oven to 250 degrees. put butter in roasting pan in oven to melt.
- 2 mix in worcestershire sauce and seasonings. mix nuts into butter thoroughly and bake for 15 minutes. (if any of your nuts are pre-salted, reduce the seasoning salt. you may also wish to reduce seasoning salt if you don't like salty foods. if any of your nuts are pre-roasted, reserve until last 15 minutes of baking.)
- 3 add cereals to nuts and stir well to distribute butter and spices. this first mixing is important to distribute flavors.
- 4 bake for 1 hour more, stirring 3 times.
- 5 allow to cool before storing in airtight container.
