Chocolate Cake With Peanut Butter Icing

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) box chocolate cake mix (duncan hines preferred)
  • 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1/3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar vanilla frosting (pillsbury's preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup whole milk

Recipe

  • 1 follow directions on the back of the cake mix box.
  • 2 bake the cake as directed.
  • 3 when cake is finished, let cool until room-temperature.
  • 4 stir in 2 tbsp peanut butter into the jar of vanilla icing.
  • 5 add 1/3 cup of milk to thin it out a little.
  • 6 stir until mixed well.
  • 7 ice the cake with the peanut butter icing.
  • 8 enjoy!
