Chocolate Scotchies

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 5 cups rice krispies
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 melt honey, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter in microwavable dish for 30 sec. stir. cook another 30 sec until melted. do not overcook.
  • 2 add rice krispies to melted mixture - stir quickly. press firmly into greased 9x13 pan using back of buttered spoon to prevent sticking.
  • 3 melt chocolate chips in microwavable bowl (approx 1-2min stirring every 30 sec.) spread melted chips on top of rice krispies. allow chocolate topping to cool and harden. cut into squares. enjoy!
