Breakfast Granola

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees. measure oats into a extra large bowl. mix together oil, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon (optional). pour over oats and mix well to coat. spread in a single layer on a baking sheet. bake 30 minutes, turning and stirring every 10 minutes. add nuts after the first 10 minutes.
  • 2 remove from oven; cool completely. stir in dried fruits. store in airtight container.
  • 3 serve with milk, yogurt, or cover a ripe banana with peanut butter and roll in granola.
