Banana Nut Cake

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites, beaten well
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 4 tablespoons buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 bananas (mashed)
- 1 cup pecans (or your choice)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 cream sugar and crisco.
- 2 add egg yolks, beat.
- 3 add rest of ingredients except egg whites.
- 4 last fold in the beaten egg whites.
- 5 bake at 350 degrees in your choice of pans, layer or angel food pan.
- 6 frost as desired (a caramel or peanut butter cream would be good).
