Carameled Popcorn

Ingredients
- 8 quarts popped popcorn
- 1 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon burnt sugar flavoring
- 1 teaspoon butter flavoring
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- peanuts
Recipe
- 1 bring to a slow boil, the margarine, corn syrup, salt, and 2 cups brown sugar.
- 2 cook for 5 minutes after mixture begins to boil. (stir and watch, this will burn easily).
- 3 then remove from heat and thoroughly stir in flavorings.
- 4 after flavorings are combined, add baking soda (this will make it foam).
- 5 pour over papped corn;add peanuts.
- 6 stir together, then put in large cake pan;put in 250 degree oven for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- 7 turn out on a cloth to cool.
- 8 when completely cool, store in airtight container.
