Beef And Black Bean Sauce Stir-fry

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 400 g beef steaks, sliced thinly
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 stalks celery, trimmed and sliced thinly
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour (optional)
  • 1/4 cup black bean sauce
  • 1 teaspoon teriyaki sauce

Recipe

  • 1 heat the peanut oil in a wok or large frying pan.
  • 2 combine beef and garlic, stir fry in batches, until beef is browned.
  • 3 remove from the wok and set aside.
  • 4 stir fry onion and celery.
  • 5 blend cornflour, black bean sauce and teriyaki sauce in a small bowl.
  • 6 return beef to wok and add blended cornflour mixture.
  • 7 stir until mixture boils and thickens slightly.
  • 8 serve with steamed rice.
