Chocolate Scotheroos

Total Time: 2 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups kellogg's rice krispies
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Recipe

  • 1 place corn syrup and sugar in a large saucepan, cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and it boils, then remove from heat.
  • 2 mix in peanut butter.
  • 3 add rice krispies and stir until well coated, then press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray.
  • 4 melt chocolate chips in microwave or on top of stove
  • 5 pour chocolate mixture evenly on top of rice krispies mixture.
  • 6 let cool and firm (put in fridge to go faster).
