Chocolate Tofu Milkshake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup silken tofu
  • 1 cup chocolate soymilk (or regular chocolate milk, milk, etc.)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar substitute (or 1-2 tsp. real sugar)
  • 1 -2 tablespoon hershey's syrup (or something like 33% less sugar nesquik)
  • 1 tablespoon organic peanut butter (optional)
  • 1 banana, slightly ripe and cut into chunks (optional)
  • 1/4 cup yogurt, pudding, ice cream, etc. (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 cut up ripe banana into chunks, place at bottom of blender, follow with tofu, sugar or sugar substitute, milk, syrup and any optional extra ingredients.
  • 2 another good combination is to leave out the chocolate syrup and use no sugar added maple syrup instead, which goes great with the banana and regular milk or vanilla soymilk.
