Coated Marshmallows

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 2/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 cups crisp rice cereal
- 24 large marshmallows
Recipe
- 1 melt th emargarine in the saucepan over medium. addthe corn syrup and brown sugar. heat, stirring constantly, until boiling. remove the saucepan to the hot pad.
- 2 add the peanut butter. stir until melted. add the vanilla. stir.
- 3 put the cereal into the bowl.
- 4 use the fork to dip each marshmallow into the peanut butter mixture until completely coated. roll in the cereal. set on the waxed paper to cool.
