Coated Marshmallows

Ingredients

• 1 tablespoon margarine
• 2/3 cup corn syrup
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 5 cups crisp rice cereal
• 24 large marshmallows

Recipe

• 1 melt th emargarine in the saucepan over medium. addthe corn syrup and brown sugar. heat, stirring constantly, until boiling. remove the saucepan to the hot pad.
• 2 add the peanut butter. stir until melted. add the vanilla. stir.
• 3 put the cereal into the bowl.
• 4 use the fork to dip each marshmallow into the peanut butter mixture until completely coated. roll in the cereal. set on the waxed paper to cool.
