Crock Pot Thai Style Chicken

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 broiler-fryer chicken, whole
- 1/4 cup peanut oil
- 1/4 cup tamari
- 2 -4 tablespoons rice vinegar (or substitute with lime juice)
- 2 -4 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili-garlic sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
Recipe
- 1 place all the ingredients but the fryer in a crock pot. adjust flavors to taste.
- 2 place fryer in, breast side down. allow it to marinate for at least two hours (and up to overnight), covered, in the fridge.
- 3 flip the fryer over, breast side up. turn crock pot on low and cook for 4-6 hours.
- 4 serve with steamed vegetables or on a salad. i like it with a peanut sauce.
