Chocolate-peanut Butter Thumbprints

Total Time: 28 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 13 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

Recipe

  • 1 blend first four ingredients.
  • 2 add sifted dry ingredients.
  • 3 form into balls and press down with damp thumb.
  • 4 fill each thumbprint with about 1/2 teaspoon of melted chocolate.
  • 5 bake at 350° for 12-14 minutes.
  • 6 cool in refrigerator or freezer before packaging.
