Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Squares

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 
 
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter 
 
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 
 
- 1 (18 ounce) package pillsbury refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough 
 
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350 degrees. 
 
- 2 in a medium bowl combine powdered sugar, peanut butter and vanilla; mix well. 
 
- 3 remove cookie dough from wrapper. 
 
- 4 with floured hands, press half of dough in bottom of ungreased 8 x 8 inch or 9 x 9 inch square pan. 
 
- 5 press peanut butter mixture evenly over dough. 
 
- 6 crumble and sprinkle remaining half of cookie dough over peanut butter mixture layer. 
 
- 7 carefully spread crumbled dough as evenly as possible. 
 
- 8 bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and firm to touch. 
 
- 9 cool 30 minutes and then refrigerate 1 hour until chilled. 
 
- 10 cut into bars and serve chilled or at room temperature.
