Beer-batter Chicken Fingers

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup beer
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 egg , beaten until stiff
  • 2 chicken breasts, skinless,boneless,cut into large strips
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons your favorite hot sauce
  • peanut oil (for deep frying)

Recipe

  • 1 mix together flour and salt.
  • 2 add the beer.
  • 3 using a whisk, mix well and then add water and mix until smooth.
  • 4 add the egg yolk and mix well.
  • 5 add the beaten egg and mix well.
  • 6 place into refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • 7 mix the worcestershire sauce and hot sauce together and add chicken strips.
  • 8 allow chicken to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  • 9 roll chicken in your batter.
  • 10 deep fry until golden brown, then drain on a paper towel.
  • 11 serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
