City Chicken

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs lamb loin
  • 2 onions
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • peanut oil, enough to brown the skewers

Recipe

  • 1 cut lamb into 1 inch cubes, put in large ziploc.
  • 2 add onions and garlic.
  • 3 refrigerate overnight.
  • 4 thread lamb cubes on skewers.
  • 5 combine eggs and milk to make a wash & pour in shallow dish long enough for the skewers.
  • 6 put breadcrumbs in another shallow dish.
  • 7 thread lamb cubes onto skewers.
  • 8 dip in egg wash & drain.
  • 9 roll in bread crumbs.
  • 10 place in hot skillet w/ 1/2 inch oil in it.
  • 11 brown on all sides.
  • 12 place on pan.
  • 13 once all skewers are fried and on pan, put ban in preheaed 325 degree oven and cook until lamb is done.
  • 14 cook time is approximate oven time, does not include the marinate time.
