Charlie Brown's Traditional Party Mix

• 2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 seasoning, packet (traditional chex brand party mix seasoning packet)
• 4 cups , your favorite chex brand cereals (corn, rice, and or or wheat)
• 1/2 cup peanuts
• 1/2 cup prezel stick

• 1 microwave directions: in large microwave-safe bowl melt margarine on high 30 to 45 seconds. stir in seasoning pack. gradually add cereals, nuts, and pretzels, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. microwave on high 3 to 3 1/2 minutes, stirring every minute. spread on absorbent paper to cool. store in airtight container.
• 2 conventional: preheat oven to 225 degrees. in 2 quart baking dish melt margarine in oven. stir in seasoning pack. gradually add cereals, nuts and pretzels, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. bake 30 minutes.
