Buckeyes

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 milk chocolate almond bark
  • 1/4 paraffin wax block (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 for the peanut butter balls:.
  • 2 melt the butter and peanut butter in a medium saucepan. stir constantly, until smooth and creamy. remove from heat.
  • 3 add vanilla and stir well.
  • 4 gradually mix in powdered sugar. add more if needed. the balls should keep their shape, but be still soft.
  • 5 for the ch0colate dip:.
  • 6 using a double boiler, melt all ingredients, stirring constantly until smooth and creamy.
  • 7 shape the peanut butter into walnut sized balls. set on wax paper. dip one ball at a time in the chocolate, leaving about a quarter size spot uncovered.
  • 8 set on another sheet of wax paper to set. chill.
