Chick Pea Salad

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 320 g chickpeas, canned
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon madras curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Recipe

  • 1 heat peanut oil in pan and stew cumin.
  • 2 add all other herbs and turn off heat, then add water.
  • 3 grate carrot and onion, mix with yogurt, lemon juice, mayonnaise, mustard and chick peas.
