Chinese-barbecued Chicken Pieces

Total Time: 3 hrs Preparation Time: 2 hrs 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1 kg chicken piece
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons char siu sauce
  • 1 teaspoon five-spice powder

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 220°c.
  • 2 cut the "fatty" pieces off the chicken pieces, and sit aside.
  • 3 combine oil, sauces and spices in a large bowl.
  • 4 add chicken, toss to cover.
  • 5 refrigerate for 2 hours (stirring occasionally).
