Candy Covered Peanut Butter Bars

Ingredients
- 1 roll refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough (16.5 oz.)
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup m&m'
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350°f in ungreased 13x9 in pan, break up cookie dough and press evenly in the bottom of the pan to make a crust. bake 12 minutes or until starting to brown. let cool completely for about 30 minutes.
- 2 in medium bowl, beat 1/2 cup of the butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar and milk until smooth. spread mixture over crust.
- 3 in saucepan, melt chocolate chips and remaining 1/4 cup butter over low heat, stirring until smooth. remove from heat and cool about 10 minutes.
- 4 stir whipping cream into chocolate mixture and mix until well blended. sprinkle m&m's on top. refrigerate about an hour or until chocolate is set before serving.
